Enjoia't Awards 2007

The Enjoia't Awards are a yearly event about contemporary jewelry, organized by the design center FAD in Barcelona. During one day all the participating jewelry designers appear in front of a jury wearing one jewel. They give the jury an explanation about the jewel and the jury asks them some questions. Then a photographer makes a picture of the designer wearing the jewel.

In the next room representatives of art galleries and the press are waiting for the participants, giving them a chance to show their work.

In the evening the jury chooses three winners, one in the student category and two in the professional category. Everybody gathers in a night club, with all the participants wearing their jewel, a number and a clip-on flashlight pointed at the jewel so it really attracts attention - it is just like a living exhibition. All the visitors can thus vote for the popular choice award.

At the end of the evening the winners are announced and called up to the stage to receive their diploma. This year, Lotte won the Enjoia't Professional Artistic Award 2007 with the piece "Déjame que me calle con el silencio tuyo".
