Creative settings 2: Inner setting, Cup bezel setting, Crown setting
During this course you can expect a detailed explaination about these three kind of settings. You learn to create every setting yourself and you learn how to make variations, so you will be able to use different kind of stones.
There are so many different kind of stones (size, colour, price) that it is required to purchase your own material. The inner setting is a variation on the bezel setting. You can use a smooth stone for this as wel as a cutted one in every geometrical form (round, square, octagon, rectangle). The cup bezel setting is used for conic stones with a flat bottom. The crown setting is very suitable for smaller, cutted stones. Choose a round stone for this one.
Do you need some help to find the correct stones, don't hesitate to send me an email. Tip: stones used in rings should have a hardness 7.
