Knotting pearls
With silk wire, cantille and tweezers you learn how to knot a pearl necklace. A little knot is made between each pearl to protect the necklace and give it a beautiful round form. If you made pendants in any previous workshops, you can bring them and include them in your necklace. The pearls or semi-precious stones you work with, you choose yourself. The lock of the necklace will be soldered in silver.
The pearls or semi-precious stones are not included in the price. You can buy them in the studio or bring them yourself. Prices for stones and pearls start from 7 euros.
If you bring your own stones, remember that this technique is meant for pearls and semi-precious stones. If you want to work with beads, make sure that the hole in the middle is not bigger then 1.5 mm. The total weight of your necklace has to be less then 40 gram. We can't use silk wire for necklaces with a higher weight.
