Silver ring with the lost wax technique

A tube in wax is the starting point for sawing and filing your own ring. You can process the wax in different ways to create a piece of art. You can build your form by adding different kinds of wax (plate, wire, pearls,...) The lost wax technique offers you a lot of possibilities.

 

When the ring in wax is finished, it is cast in silver by a specialized firm, after which we have to finish it. The price of the silver is not included in the course. It depends on the seize of your piece. You can have something cast starting from 30 €. You decide how many pieces you want to make.

• paper
