Soldering in silver: silver wire
To learn how to solder in silver, we will start working with silver wire. You learn how to shape and bend the different links. You learn to prepare all your silver pieces in a correct way (anneal, make a perfect fitting form and clean with acid). When this is done we can start soldering.
In this course you decide yourself what kind of jewelry you want to make. You can make a necklace, a pendant, brooch or a couple of earrings. The principle of soldering stays the same. At the end of the course we will look at the different ways of finishing the jewel.
Included:
- 1 meter silver wire, thickness 1 mm (if you need more you can purchase it at the studio)
- silversolder
- use of the studio materials
- instruction leaflet
- drink and biscuit
To bring yourself:
- pencil
- paper
- an apron if you wish

Full basic training
A full basic training in jewelry techniques consists of three workshops:
- Technical skills (level 1)
- Soldering with silver wire (level 1)
- Soldering with plate and wire (level 2)
These three workshops offer everything you need to continue your practice at home. If you mastered these techniques well, you can subscribe for all level 2 workshops in the future.
If you follow these three workshops in the same year, you get a reduced fee: 450 € instead of 515 €. You must simultaneously register for the three workshops. The order of the first 2 workshops can be changed, soldering with sheet and wire has to be the last workshop.
