Silver clay: Stone settings
In this workshop you will get an introduction to the integration of organic stone settings for synthetic stones in your jewelry. These stones are high temperature resistant and are baked in the clay. With a syringe we set the pattern for a line drawing in which the stone will be included. This technique requires no special equipment. A gas stove in the kitchen or a small burner is sufficient.
The use of silver clay is sometimes viewed negatively. But if you look for the additional values that this material can offer to your design, it can also inspire the traditional goldsmith.
